RYA Personal Watercraft Certificate (PWC/Jetski)
The popularity of the RYA PWC course has increased dramatically in recent months due to the fact that the Competency Certificate is required by the majority of insurance companies before they will insure owners of a Personal Watercraft (JetSki).

The RYA PWC course is designed for both first time riders and those with experience. During the course you will cover everything from launching and recovery, safety and navigation to high speed handling and care of your machine.
Courses are run all year round in picturesque Poole Harbour, where we are fortunate to have a designated JetSki area and slalem course in place.
We run the courses on a bespoke basis to suit your requirements, either on board your own PW if you have one, or on our new SeaDoo JetSki. The course is run by our Principal, Stuart Newcombe, who is passionate about the sport, making the day not only an essential educational experience, but also great fun to boot!
The course is also suitable for children aged from 12 to 16 years, who will be awarded an endorsed certificate upon successful completion. This means that they will be able to drive a PW only under the supervision of a competent adult.
Whether you would like to get more out of your own PW, learn the ropes before buying or hiring one abroad, or want a great day out for your family with the added bonus of everyone learning how to safely use a JetSki, this course covers it all.

RYA PWC Instructor CourseCurrent holders of an RYA Powerboat Instructor Certificate can become a PWC Instructor after a day's conversion course, so long as they hold a PWC certificate and have at least 2 years' PW experience.
Those without the PBI can take the 3 day PW Instructor course so long as they have the experience to do so. Please call us for further information..
