RYA Powerboat Level 2 Course

To teach boathandling and seamanship in powerboats. After the course you will be able to helm a powerboat during the day in familiar waters & in favourable weather conditions.

No prior boating experience is necessary. The course equally suits those new to boating and those who have been boating for years. Most people take the Level 2 course and bypass Level 1 as it is not a requirement that you have Level 1 before you take Level 2.

The minimum age for the Level 2 course is 12. Candidates under the age of 16 will be issued a certificate, with the endorsement that they should only use powered craft under the supervision of a responsible adult.
